Curated to incorporate the interior deco of the newly-opened Tampines Regional Library,:

 

i - A treasure-hunt, interactive pitstop format across the levels of the library;

​

ii -  A special one-of-its-kind upsized adult 'sarong cradle'! This cloth cradle mimics the look of the vintage version;We kid you not!

 

iii - Photographs of family spaces still adopting this
old-school practice, accompanied by quotes derived from interviews with SG families;

 

iii -  Photographs of adults who grew up in a sarong cradle, presented via a meditative ‘pod’ where visitors are encouraged to learn more about this custom and reflect upon this heritage.

 

Reflections gathered from their incubative process will be showcased alongside.

​

iv - Walls of archival content, with old photographs and quotes, as well as ‘relics’ relating to this practice from the past. These are contributed by the SG community through the process of the public call for participation.

v - All visitors are invited to locate and match all 5 pit-stops situated within the new Library Space on a Fun Sheet quiz. By submitting the completed quiz, participants stand to win a goodie bag from Singlish Mamashop.
